OUR Studios

Our studios are your go-to destination for urban training, tailored to your individual needs. We currently have two locations in Cologne, both equipped with high-quality gear and a focused approach. In the Belgian Quarter, we offer the full spectrum: Pilates, Strength, Yoga, and Barre—perfect for anyone who loves to mix it up and push their limits. In Ehrenfeld, we focus exclusively on yoga, providing a space for mindfulness, balance, and tradition.
And there’s more: Starting in February 2025, we’re launching two new Reformer studios in Südstadt and the Belgian Quarter. Plus, we’re bringing our Reformer spirit to Berlin and Hamburg. Your place to feel it all: the burn, the strength, and the calm.

Great yoga studio and very well-managed flow. I was at YTTP in Ehrenfeld for the first time today and I am delighted. The studio is centrally located and well equipped. It has everything you need for a good yoga session. There is enough space for everyone so that you don't get in each other's way. Despite the hot summer temperatures, it was pleasantly cool in the room. Today's Dynamic Flow included everything from relaxation to dynamism. There were always alternatives offered to suit all levels. Top! I'm already looking forward to my next yoga class.

YTTP is my new favorite studio in Cologne! The courses are dynamic, sweaty, with just the right level of accuracy. Exactly what I've been looking for a long time. Can I arrange a non-binding trial lesson?

You are very welcome to book a one-time trial lesson online. Here we can get to know each other and you can get an impression of whether yoga or the type of yoga is something for you. A trial lesson costs 15 euros.

Do you also offer training and continuing education?

Yes, we offer basic yoga courses, advanced yoga courses and Pilates continuing education courses. YTTP ACADEMY is the hotspot for prospective yoga teachers in Cologne. Here you will have the opportunity to develop the necessary skills in 200 and 300 hours of training. With a creative approach and experienced mentors, modern courses will challenge you not only in practice but also in theory. Perfect for anyone who wants to take their yoga journey to the next level Under the “Academy” menu item, you will find all our training offers, detailed information and the option to submit a request directly to us.

Can anyone take part in the Classes?

Our courses are available to everyone, regardless of your level of experience. You don't need any special experience — we start right where you are. Some courses are more advanced; you can see this in the course schedule based on the course description. The most important thing is that you listen to your body and be mindful of yourself. You know your limits best. If certain exercises are unpleasant for you, you can skip them or find a suitable alternative together with the trainer.

What should I bring to the Class?

For our courses, we recommend comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely. Yoga and Pilates are usually practiced barefoot, so you don't need any special shoes. We provide yoga mats, but you can also bring your own mat. It is also useful to bring a towel.

What is Reformer Pilates and what does it do?

Reformer Pilates is a special form of Pilates that is performed on a device called a “reformer.” Through precise exercises on the reformer, we strengthen your deep muscles and promote your mobility — ideal for anyone looking for a demanding and effective full body workout. Whether you're a beginner or advanced, our reformer training adapts to your level and brings you to your personal goal.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a holistic body workout to strengthen muscles, primarily pelvic floor, abdominal and back muscles. It combines breathing, strength exercises, coordination and stretching in harmonious movements. Pilates is aimed at all those who appreciate targeted core training and powerful movements. Our courses are designed for every fitness level — from beginners to advanced. With a focus on posture and muscle strengthening, Pilates helps you to increase your physical strength and flexibility and to shape your body holistically.

How do I behave in your studios and are there rules?

For all of our classes — yoga, pilates, reformers and barre — there are a few basic rules of conduct to ensure a pleasant atmosphere. Please be there at least 5-10 minutes before the course starts to prepare in peace and quiet and start the course undisturbed. Switch your phone off during class or into flight mode to avoid distractions. Be respectful of the other participants and trainers, as everyone is here to relax and improve. Also pay attention to personal hygiene and clean the mats and equipment used after the course (disinfectants are available). If you are late or have to leave early, please do so quietly without disrupting the course. If you have any health problems or injuries, inform the trainers before the start of the course so that they can take appropriate consideration.

Can I cancel DropIns, trial lessons or workshops booked online?

Yes, you can simply cancel your booked appointments via your account. You can access your account either via the link in the booking confirmation email or via our course calendar. Drop-ins and trial lessons can be canceled free of charge up to 12 hours before the course starts, and the amount will be credited to your account. For workshops and other events, you can find the respective cancellation conditions in the course description.

Which courses do you offer?

We offer a wide range of classes, including yoga, pilates, and barre. From February 2025, we will be expanding our offering to include Reformer Pilates. You can find our entire current range of courses in our course schedule on the website or app.

What are the positive effects of yoga on me?

Yoga doesn't take place on the outside, yoga does something to you, on the inside, that the outside cannot do. Yoga works on both levels: If you do something to straighten you up externally through the exercises, you also ensure the inner straightening at the same time. Body, mind and soul are firmly connected. After just the first few yoga classes, you will notice changes that can be felt in very different areas. Perhaps you have less headache or back pain due to relieved tension, or you are happier and more balanced due to the release of stress. Yoga makes you more aware of yourself: You get to know your limits better and how to maintain them and can thus be more mindful of yourself. The longer you practice yoga, the more you benefit from it in everyday life, so that you are often better prepared for challenges. Yoga brings us back to ourselves.

Are there any discounts or memberships with YTTP?

Yes, we offer various membership models and discounts, such as 10-card cards or long-term memberships at attractive prices. Under the “Prices” menu on our website, you can find an overview of all our offer prices for the courses.

Am I not allowed to do yoga with certain health conditions?

If you have any health restrictions, you should check with your doctor before taking part in our Pilates or yoga classes. It is possible that your doctor will advise you against individual exercises. So that our well-trained teachers can offer you suitable alternatives for the exercises, it is important that we talk about your limitations together. As with every participant, you should pay particular attention to yourself.

How do course styles differ from one another?

Yoga focuses on flexibility, balance, and mental peace through breathing techniques and asanas. Our courses harmoniously balance body and mind and create a quiet yet dynamic space for your personal break. Pilates strengthens the core and promotes posture through controlled movements. With a focus on posture and muscle strengthening, Pilates helps you to increase your physical strength and flexibility and to shape your body holistically. Reformer Pilates uses a special device to vary resistance and provides a more intensive full body workout. Barre combines elements of ballet, Pilates, and yoga to tone muscles and increase endurance.

How can I sign up for a Class?

In our course schedule on the homepage, simply select your appropriate course, and then you will be shown all payment options (trial lesson, drop-in, 10-card, etc.). Pay conveniently via PayPal, EC or credit card. Alternatively, you can book all of our courses via the Urban Sports Club app.
